Orders

Are accepted by us on the understanding that the terms and conditions have been understood and accepted by you.

Prices

We aim to maintain our prices for 12 months (July 2021 – July 2022) but regret that if extraordinary circumstances occur it may be necessary to pass on, without notice, any increases over which we have no control.

Payments

Payments are made through PayPal express secure checkout or Woo Commerce payments.

VAT & Duty

Where applicable, these are charged at the current rate (January 2022). We reserve the right to change prices subject to a change in the rate of duty & VAT. Some goods contain zero rated VAT; on these items VAT is charged on the due amount only.

Amendments

We reserve the right in the event of an item not being available to substitute with an item(s) of equal or greater value.) In the event of any shortages on your order we will contact you to give you the option of a substitute or to cancel your order.

Delivery / Claims

Please ensure that a full and correct address is given (with valid postcode) as any additional carriage costs resulting from errors will be charged. Delivery charges are as those listed on the invoice sent to you. All items are insured. Claims for breakages or other damage must be made in writing to ‘Ome Made’ within 3 days of delivery. All goods and packages that are subject to a claim must be kept for inspection by the carrier. Damages during carriage must be noted on the carrier delivery note, otherwise claims are invalidated.

Liability

‘Ome Made shall not be liable for any loss which might occur after the parcel has been signed for on delivery. Our liability, in any circumstance and whatsoever the consequences, relating to any parcel ordered is limited to the invoice value of the parcel itself.

Refunds

Refunds will only be given for faulty or damaged goods, please return the item(s) with proof of purchase. (Refunds, including postage, will only be credited with the same payment method as the original purchase)

Cancelled Orders

Customers have the no-obligation right to cancel an order within fourteen working days from the day after goods have been delivered. Customers will be entitled to a full refund of the price paid, provided that the goods are returned in the same saleable condition and the Customer will be responsible for the cost of postage to return the goods to ”Ome Made’.

Returned goods must be received within twenty-one days of delivery. Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, any sum debited to us will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within thirty days of your Order PROVIDED THAT the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when they were delivered to you.

Cancellation by us


We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:

  • We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have Ordered;
  • We do not deliver to your area;
  • One or more of the goods you Ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error.
  • Please note that Local Pick Up option is for the Sheffield and surrounding area only. If you choose this option by mistake then you must pay for postage. We have the right to cancel your order if postage payment is not provided.

If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit your account with any sum deducted by us as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your Order.

Delivery Terms & Conditions

‘Ome Made aim to deliver your goods within 7 working days of placing your order to any part of the UK Mainland using Royal Mail. Delivery charges are based on either number of items ordered or weight, depending on what items are in your basket. The delivery costs are displayed on the checkout.  Delivery to Scottish Highlands/Islands, Northern Ireland, Isles Of Man & The Scilly Isles may incur and extra delivery charge of £20 to cover the cost of extra delivery charge to us.

Delivery Policy

It is the Customers responsibility to ensure all delivery address/details for the order are correct, ‘Ome Made cannot accept any responsibility or costs for non delivery to the intended recipient or losses in such circumstances. Ensuring that the recipient is going to be at the delivery address, on the day of delivery, remains the responsibility of the customer. ‘Ome Made can not accept responsibility or costs incurred in such circumstances e.g. recipient being on holiday etc, on day of delivery. ‘Ome Made can not accept responsibility or any costs incurred as the result of a delay in delivery by Royal Mail due to adverse weather conditions or accident. Where damage has occurred due to such delay, a replacement will be dispatched to the recipient.

Unless otherwise expressly stated in these terms and conditions, all notices from you to us must be in writing and sent to our contact address at ‘Ome Made, 98 Little Norton Lane, Sheffield, S8 8GD.  All notices from us to you will be displayed on our website from to time.

Changes to legal notices

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and you should look through them as often as possible.

Law, jurisdiction and language

This website, any content contained therein and any contract brought into being as a result of usage of this website are governed by and construed in accordance with English law. parties to any such contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. All contracts are concluded in English.

Invalidity

If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.

All customer information, mailing address information and all data submitted to us is stored on secure databases and protected on the webservers used by hardware, software and passwords, from access by anyone but authorized staff. Customer details which we receive with your Order are held on our secure server which is fully compliant to Data Protection Standards. Our Payment Service Provider, PayPal, ensures that all transaction information passed between merchant sites and the PayPal Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates.

We will not release your personal information to any third party.
