Description
The Devils Arse Hot Curry Masala packs a punch!
Indian spices are combined with three different types of chilli. Teja, Birdseye and the infamous Naga.
The combination of chillies gives you different heat sensations, with the Naga giving that lingering heat that builds as you eat.
Use The Devils Arse Hot Curry Masala as you would any other curry powder. Add to fried chopped onion, garlic and ginger before adding your other ingredients. There are some curry recipes on our blog at www.omemade.com
1 teaspoon of this for 1 person, with around 130g of main ingredient and 150-200ml of liquid will give a hot curry. 2 teaspoon per person is getting seriously hot! If you are completely Insane try adding some Na Na Na Naga Pickle towards the end of cooking!
You can use The Devils Arse Hot Curry Masala with other Masalas or your own selection of spices to make it up to your own desired heat if you like it a little milder/hotter.
This powder would be great for adding to the B.I.R Curry Masala to up the heat levels of the curries made with that.
The Curry Kid has a fantastic recipe using this Masala along with our Creeping Death Lime & Naga Chutney.

And if you’re curious about where the name came from? The Devils Arse is actually a huge cave at Peak Caverns in Derbyshire. Its now been turned in to a venue with live bands playing there and films shown. If you can get there it’s well worth it!
